Multipower references

Digismart, Tallinn, Estonia

MW Power has delivered in 2009 power plant to company Estonian company, Digismart. The delivery consists of a biomass-fired steam boiler, a backpressure steam turbine, a flue gas scrubber, a dematerialized water treatment plant, DH make-up water treatment plant, and a fuel receiving and handling plant.

The new plant produces approximately 72 MWth (incl. scrubber) of heat to Tallinn district heating network and is generating approximately 25 MWe (gross) of electricity connected to the national grid. Planned production is for electricity up to 180 GWh/year and heating energy up to 500 GWh/year.

Fuels: wood fuels (chips, bark, etc.) up to 100%, additionally peat


C4 Energi, Kristianstad, Sweden

A CHP plant supply for C4 Energi, owned by the Swedish municipality of Kristianstad. MW Power delivered the boiler plant in 2007. The plant was connected to an existing power plant at the same site.

The wood-fueled plant produces approx. 18 MW of district heat and approx. 8 MW of electricity.

Steam temperature: 513 °C
Fuels: recycled wood, wood chips
